Wilfried's Heco Baukasten Construction Sets

Wilfried's Heco Baukasten was a simple construction system to make buildings. The framework was made of wood and the panels from card. It is a straight copy of Mobaco. The drawings are identical to Mobaco's 1931 Gnomes manual. The models shown in the booklet for sets 1 and 2 are the same as in Mobaco Sets 00 and 0, specifically models 002-005 from Set 00 and Models 01-04 from Set 0. It was made by Heller & Co (HECO) in Wutha [Farnroda] near Eisenach, in the former East Germany. Dates are unknown but must be between 1931 and 1960, as the printer (Grafischer Betrieb Carl Kaestner in Eisenach) moved in 1960.

All the manuals and photos below have come from Caspar Mol's website about Mobaco which also contains info on Wilfried's Heco Baukasten to whom I am grateful for the permission for their use. There is more information on the system on his website - https://www.mobaco.nl/Related.html.
